Figurative Language:

What examples of figurative language and sound effects can you find in the story? Put the example in quotation marks, list the page number, and tell what type it is.

A hyperbole on page 12-13 states: "... he had hands that looked capable of uprooting a willow tree, and a black glare that would drop the devil to his knees begging for mercy."
